StealthGas Inc is an international shipping transportation company specialising in the transportation of various petroleum and petrochemical gas products in liquefied form.

StealthGas currently owns 46 LPG carriers, which includes 38 currently under operation, 1 vessel that is expected to deliver in December 2008, and 7 new buildings for delivery between 2009 and 2011. The average age of our LPG fleet is about 10.4 years at the end of 2008 compared to an industry average of 18 years and the total carrying capacity of the LPG fleet is approximately 173,499 cbm, including the vessel that delivers in December 2008. StealthGas ranks number 1 worldwide in owned vessels in the 3,000 to 8,000 cbm LPG carrier segment which is our strategic focus.

As well as the LPG vessels described above StealthGas also owns and operates under 7 year bare boat charters two brand new 47,000 deadweight M.R. type Product Carriers. StealthGas has also contracted to acquire 2 additional M.R. type Product Carriers for delivery in April and Nov 2009. Upon their delivery, these vessels will be deployed under a three-year time charter and a three-year bare boat charter respectively.
