StealthGas Inc is an international shipping transportation company specialising in the transportation of various petroleum and petrochemical gas products in liquefied form.

StealthGas currently owns 45 LPG carriers, which includes 39 currently under operation  and 6 new buildings for delivery between 2009 and 2012. The average age of our LPG fleet is about 11.1 years at the end of 2009 compared to an industry average of 19 years and the total carrying capacity of the LPG fleet is 176,999 cbm. StealthGas ranks number 1 worldwide in owned vessels in the 3,000 to 8,000 cbm LPG carrier segment which is our strategic focus.

As well as the LPG vessels described above StealthGas also owns and operates under 7 year bare boat charters two brand new 47,000 deadweight M.R. type Product Carriers. StealthGas has also contracted to acquire 2 additional M.R. type Product Carriers for delivery in May and Nov 2009. Upon their delivery, these vessels will be deployed under a three-year time charter and a three-year bare boat charter respectively.
